To initiate a hand of Three Card Poker, players make an Ante bet and an optional Pair Plus side bet. Three cards are dealt face down to the players and the dealer. A player looks at his cards and makes a Play bet the same size as his Ante when he thinks his hand is strong enough to beat the dealer’s. Otherwise, he folds and forfeits his Ante bet.
